The Colon Recurrence Score Report

A detailed Oncotype DX® Colon Recurrence Score report is generated for each patient, with the test result expressed as a Colon Recurrence Score result (0-100).

There are two reports tailored to the patients stage: Stage II (T3 or T4 stage, MMR-Proficient patients) or Stage III A/B.

Stage II Report

The Stage II Report consists of two pages.

  1. The first page supplies a clear summary of recurrence risk following surgery alone (from the QUASAR validation study): The Colon Recurrence Score result is visible at a glance, along with the associated recurrence risk estimate following surgery for MMR-P patients by T-stage. For patients whose Colon Recurrence Score result is ≥ 41, shading is provided to highlight that the patient is at higher risk.
  2. The second page supplies the recurrence risk following chemotherapy (from the NSABP C-07 validation study), again showing the patient’s Colon Recurrence Score result, now with the associated recurrence risk estimate following 5-FU/LV alone or in combination with oxaliplatin. For patients whose Colon Recurrence Score result is ≥ 41, shading is provided to highlight that the patient is at higher risk.

Stage III Report

The Stage III Report is a one-page report that supplies the recurrence risk following chemotherapy (from the NSABP C-07 validation study), showing the patient’s Colon Recurrence Score result with the associated recurrence risk estimate following 5-FU/LV alone or in combination with oxaliplatin. For patients whose Colon Recurrence Score result is < 30, shading is provided to highlight that the patient is at lower risk and may be considered for 5FU/LV alone.
